El Salvador: Chavez ordena al FMLN desatar la violencia - por Alejandro Peña Esclusa
Hace siete meses, el candidato del Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN), Mauricio Funes, punteaba en las encuestas con más de quince puntos de ventaja. El FMLN contaba –y todavía cuenta– con abundante financiamiento ilegal, suministrado por Hugo Chávez, a través de Alba Petróleos. Todo indicaba que El Salvador caería en las garras del Socialismo del Siglo XXI, como ha ocurrido con Bolivia, Ecuador y Nicaragua.
Sin embargo, en medio de la campaña electoral, surgieron evidencias de los vínculos de Chávez con el FMLN. El propio Chávez los hizo públicos, al declararse abiertamente a favor de Funes, y confesar en televisión que pretendía construir “una sola patria”, con Cuba, Venezuela y El Salvador.
A medida que Chávez profundizaba el modelo comunista en Venezuela, confiscando propiedades y modificando la Constitución para perpetuarse en el poder, el pueblo salvadoreño fue poniendo sus barbas en remojo y cambiando sus preferencias. Daniel Ortega hizo el resto, robándose de la manera más atroz los comicios en Nicaragua.
Cuando sólo faltan pocos días para que se lleven a cabo las elecciones presidenciales, todos los sondeos serios indican que el candidato de Alianza Republicana Nacionalista (ARENA), Rodrigo Ávila, lleva una ligera ventaja sobre Funes.
En el estado de euforia irracional en que se encuentra, Chávez no puede permitir que su proyecto sufra una derrota humillante en El Salvador, por eso, ha ordenado a sus socios del Frente Farabundo Martí activar el plan B, que consiste en proclamar a los cuatro vientos que hay un fraude en marcha, desconocer los resultados y desatar la violencia en esa nación centroamericana. Se trata del mismo esquema desarrollado por Andrés Manuel López Obrador en México, con el apoyo político de Chávez.
El plan comenzó a activarse hace algunos días, con la publicación de artículos en las redes y páginas de Internet controladas por la izquierda latinoamericana, donde se asegura que la única manera de que el FMLN pierda las elecciones, es por medio de un fraude. Por su parte, Mauricio Funes cerró su campaña alegando que el fraude estaba montado.
En los últimos días, la Embajada de Venezuela en El Salvador ha incrementado sus operaciones y su injerencia indebida en esa nación. Los medios de comunicación controlados por Chávez, como TeleSur, están listos para promover la histeria y el desorden después del 15 de marzo, si los resultados no favorecen a su pupilo Funes. También es de esperarse, que Evo Morales, Rafael Correa, Daniel Ortega y demás integrantes del Alba, pretendan levantar sospechas sobre el proceso electoral salvadoreño.
El plan de violencia ordenado por Chávez puede derrotarse, siempre y cuando el pueblo salvadoreño vote masivamente a favor de la democracia, se una en torno a sus instituciones nacionales, y denuncie claramente las intenciones del dictador venezolano.

Marxist strongman admits intent to build "one nation", with Cuba, Venezuela and El Salvador

Seven months ago in El Salvador, Mauricio Funes, the candidate of the former communist guerrillas' Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN), was ahead in the polls with more than fifteen percent. The FMLN had –and still has– massive illegal funding, supplied by Venezuelan Marxist strongman Hugo Chávez. Everything indicated that El Salvador would fall into the clutches of Chavez, as has happened with Bolivia, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
However, in the midst of the election campaign, evidence emerged of the ties between Chavez and the FMLN. Chavez went public, declaring openly that he was favoring Funes and confessing on national television that he intended to build "one nation", with Cuba, Venezuela and El Salvador.
As Chavez tightened the communist grip on Venezuela, seizing property and amending the Constitution to remain in power, the Salvadoran people became afraid that his associate Mauricio Funes would do the same in their country, and decided to change their preferences.
With only a few days left before the presidential elections, all serious polls indicate that the candidate of the Nationalist Republican Alliance party (ARENA), Rodrigo Ávila, still has a slight advantage over Funes. In his growing megalomaniacal euphoria, Chavez can not allow his plan for an Iron Curtain of Marxism unifying all of Latin America to suffer a humiliating setback in El Salvador. Therefore, he has instructed his former guerrilla allies of the Marxist Farabundo Marti Front to activate Plan B, which consists in proclaiming that an electoral fraud is underway, disavowing the expected results and then unleashing violence. This is precisely the method used by former Mexican presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, also with the political support of Chavez.
In El Salvador Plan B was activated few days ago. Websites controlled by Latin American Marxist revolutionary movements, published articles claiming that the only way the Marxist FMLN would lose the election would be through fraud. Playing along in the charade, Chavez protégé Mauricio Funes closed his campaign, also claiming that electoral fraud was being planned by the anti-Marxists who are leading the polls.
In recent days, the Venezuelan Embassy has intensified its efforts to subvert a democratic result in the El Salvadoran election. The Latin American media controlled by Chavez, such as TeleSur, are ready to promote hysteria and disorder after March 15 -- if the results are not favourable to Funes. It is also expected that Evo Morales, Rafael Correa, Daniel Ortega and other members of the Chavez alliance, intend to discredit the electoral process in El Salvador.
Even the planned use of violence by Chavez and his multi-national Marxist alliance can be defeated if the Salvadoran people vote massively in favor of democracy, support their national institutions, and denounce clearly the intentions of the Venezuelan dictator.
