MalaysaAir14It’s been two months since Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur Airport and ultimately crashed into the Indian Ocean. Today, after extensive questioning from both the FBI and MI6, 11 militants have been officially arrested in connection with the flight’s questionable disappearance.

The arrests come after international investigators, including the FBI and MI6, asked for the militants, whose ages range from 22 to 55, to be questioned intensively about the latest developments in connection with the disappearance of flight MH370.

New Information Led To The 11 Al Qaeda Terrorists’ Arrest

Just yesterday, investigators discovered that the airplane contained 4.566 tons of the exotic fruit mangosteens AND a shipment of lithium batteries, reports The Daily Mail. This news is coupled with Osama Bin Laden’s nephew, Saajid Badat, claiming he was told to give a shoe bomb to a group of Malaysians during the New York-based trial of Sulaiman Abu Ghaith.

Even More MH370 Questions Remain

Now that these arrests have been made, investigators are closer than ever to solving this case. It’s believed that these suspects are part of a new, ultra-violent terror group that plans to bomb Muslim countries. We also know that the arrested group included both men and women, with jobs ranging from students to business professionals. One woman arrested is a “young widow.”

The Beijing-bound flight had 239 passengers on board, and so many pieces of this puzzle still remain unsolved. We’ll keep you updated as new information becomes available.
