On the days leading up to and following the November election, Public Opinion Strategies conducted a national survey for the Vernon K. Krieble Foundation. The survey polled 600 likely voters via the internet on November 2-6, 2006, and two telephone surveys of 2400 actual voters on November 7th. Based on their findings, three-quarters of voters said that the issue of illegal immigration was extremely or very important to them in deciding how to vote.

March, 2006

Public Opinion Strategies conducted an additional national survey for the Vernon K. Krieble Foundation to gain new insights into how people are reacting to the current immigration debate. The survey polled 800 likely voters from both political parties, March 14-16. Almost 8 out of 10 people share the Krieble Foundation's view that controlling the borders requires a better system for handling guest workers.

On behalf of the Vernon K. Krieble Foundation and Freedom Works, Public Opinion Strategies conducted a national survey of 600 likely voters who are self-described as Republican or voting for the Republican Congressional candidate in 2006. The survey was conducted November 1-7, 2005 and has a margin of error of +4.0%.
