Friedman Legacy for Freedom 2007

July 31, 2007 would have been Milton Friedman’s 95th birthday. To honor his vision and the impact he has had on our society, the Hispanic American Center for Economic Research (HACER) is hosting a breakfast discussion in his honor.

Speakers:

  • Dr. Warren Coats, IMF Economist and former student of Milton Friedman.
  • Prof. David Levy, Historian of Economic Thought at George Mason University and former student of Milton Friedman
  • Prof. David Mitch, Economist, University of Maryland in Baltimore County (UMBC)
  • Prof. Donald Parsons, Chairman Department of Economics, George Washington University (GWU)
  • Moderator: Dr. Alejandro Chafuen, President & CEO of the Atlas Economic Research Foundation and Chairman of the board of HACER.
