Chilean Think Tank Wins 2003 Fisher Award
On April 23, Atlas Economic Research Foundation presented its 2003 Sir Antony Fisher International Memorial Awards in recognition of the institutes that published the best books for educating the public about free markets, individual liberty and the rule of law.
This year's top honors went to the Cato Institute (Washington DC) for Brink Lindsey's Against the Dead Hand: The Uncertain Struggle for Global Capitalism. Other prizes were given to the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies (Canada) - Innovative Award for its Definitely NOT the Romanov Report Health Care Project; and to Libertad y Desarrollo Ideas para una Educacion de Calidad (Chile) - Best Original Publication in Spanish.
